Rascals is a group of four well equipped day nurseries established in 1988 by Alan and Julia Britton. Our nurseries, all based in the South Cheshire regions of Congleton and Crewe offer a comprehensive child care service for children from 6 weeks up to 5 years of age.

Our focus is:

• for the children - to provide high standards of care in a stable and secure environment where social and intellectual development are aided
  
• for the parents - to work in partnership with parents considering their needs and assisting them as the prime educators of their child
  
• for the staff - to provide staff with the abilities to structure and support the children's learning. To invest in staff training and development throughout their employment and to regularly gauge competence and commitment
  
• for the future - to maintain the financial viability of the business for the long term security and continuity for the children.

Rascals nurseries are Ofsted registered, recently receiving inspections highlighting our strengths. We also have support from Cheshire County Council and link to Sure Start for our Early Years Training. In addition we are members of NDNA through which we receive update information and publications.

In June 2004 Rascals achieved the Investors in People standard which enforces our committment to our staff with regard to their training and their professional development.
